The ODROID-Go Super is a fully assembled retro gaming handheld that takes everything great about its predecessor and makes it bigger and better. The 5 inch tempered glass LCD display bumps up the resolution to 854x480 pixels, a significant jump from the older 3.5 inch 320x480 screens. You get a RockChip RK3326 quad-core processor running at 1.3GHz with Mali-G31 graphics, paired with 1GB of DDR3L RAM. The 4000mAh battery keeps you playing for hours without needing to recharge, and the spring-eject microSD card slot makes swapping games way easier than the friction-based design on older models.
Out of the box, this handheld runs a modified EmulationStation frontend with Libretro support, compatible with Ubuntu 18.04, 19.10, and 20.04 on a 4.4 kernel. The GPU acceleration with OpenGL-ES on DRM-FB handles your favorite classic games smoothly. There's also a stereo headphone jack and 0.5 watt mono speaker built in for audio.
