This copper case with integrated active cooling is built specifically for the Rock 5B and 5B+ single board computers. The heatsink uses pure copper construction instead of aluminum alloy, which significantly improves thermal conductivity. Copper conducts heat at 386-401 W/m.K compared to aluminum alloy at just 121-151 W/m.K, making it far more effective at pulling heat away from your processor during intensive tasks like edge computing or AI applications.
The package includes a complete cooling solution with a 3010 fan mounted on the heatsink assembly. The copper fins are layered to maximize surface area for heat dissipation. You get three thickness options depending on your cooling needs: 5.7mm with 3 copper layers, 8.2mm with 4 layers, 11mm with 5 layers, or 13mm with 6 layers. This lets you balance cooling performance against physical size constraints in your setup. The kit also comes with three smaller mini copper heatsinks and thermal grease for additional component cooling if needed.
Installation is straightforward since it's designed as a direct fit for Rock 5B and Rock 5B+ boards.
